It has been 5-days so I tested again. Positive. Sore throat is diminishing so the Chloraseptic is less frequent which is nice, but iv’e noticed a new twist. I have already been enjoying one side-effect from the IV medication which is a metallic taste, and honestly I would rather have that than the others more commonly mentioned which are all intestinal and require frequent visits to the bathroom. The Covid side-effect I am noticing is my sense of taste has been diminishing. I was partially through a bowl of mango sorbet when I realized I could barely distinguish a flavor. I thought at first it might be caused by the numbing effect of the Chloraseptic, which could be partially to blame, but I haven’t used any since early this morning. I have heard of this and hope it isn’t lasting. If it is, I might as well eat tofu.
My YouTube journey through deserted Canada only lasted several videos. Interesting for a minute but not compelling. I stumbled on some leather-working to build holsters which was cool. I remember making wallets as a little kid during summer school. Fun memory. One surprise was finding John Stossel (Stossel TV). I enjoyed him years ago on 20/20 but hadn’t seen or heard from of him forever, so I enjoyed watching him. He alway presented a “Neutral” view in his interviews (my opinion) and thought his style of questioning interesting. He offered an opposing opinion in the form of a question which I find less belligerent or confrontational. What I found most surprising is he and his guests referred to him as neither right or left but a liberal. Since I couldn’t argue with any of his points, maybe I need to research that further…
My brain got tired having to process all of that so I stopped in Buffalo to watch their 77” snowstorm. OMG! I also randomly clicked on Thanksgiving with Dude Perfect. Hilarious! They have been doing it 12-years and I didn’t have a clue. It is time for my 2:00 pm IV feeding which is pretty simple and straight forward. It only difference between Pharmacy A & B is the dose time of the actual medicine. “A” required a 5-minute dose and “B” a 30-minute dose. Oh, and the packaging. “A” a syringe and “B” a high-style reimagined hand-grenade that is self dispensing which is clever. .
